St. George’s University’s Master of Public Health Program is one of the only programs in the Caribbean and one of only five non-US programs to receive accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). Since its inception in 1999, more than 500 public health professionals have graduated from St. George’s MPH program to join a growing network of 11,000 doctors, veterinarians, and public health practitioners in over 40 countries throughout the world. MPH students at St. George’s have the opportunity to study alongside 5,000 university students and faculty from over 140 countries for a diverse and enriching experience. For their requisite field-based courses, students have the chance to select from over 80 sites across 40 countries and can even create their own in order to get hands-on exposure most relevant to their career of choice. And the on-campus research facilities give students the opportunity to engage with visiting scholars from prestigious research institutions through affiliation with the Windward Islands Research and Education Foundation. With specializations available in Epidemiology, Health Policy and Administration, Environmental and Occupational Health, and Veterinary Public Health, the MPH program can be completed in twelve months or up to five years with a dual degree in medicine or veterinary medicine, customizable to just about any student’s educational needs and aspirations.
